Is it okay to wear a bikini if i have a couple stretch marks on my hips? my fiance wants to see me in a bikini, but i told him that i really don't like my body especially the stretch marks on my hips. hes like there barely visible to the naked eye, but i have a hard time believing him | i was prepared to answer this question with "guys dont see that.. and they dont care" that's still kinda my answer.. but you have a husband! and i'm sure he loves your body the way it is. i'd say go for it.
being a teen, we have so much pressure to be perfect -- i definitely dont think my body is perfect but last summer i decided to buy a bikini. woah, was i so self conscious-- but i got over it. there are worse looking people than you wearing bikinis.. trust me
to the first person who recommended self tanner...
self tanner might make the stretch marks more apparent if the color doesnt take to it, so if you're going that route, make sure you try it out before you hop in that bikini in case you dont like it.
get that bikini and give your fiance some eye candy lol =) | Can I wear a bikini even though im a little thicker? i'm 5'6 and 145 lbs. [i'm 13]
i have love handles, but when i stand up straight, they're barely visible.
i have a 36A chest, so what type of bikini should i wear? i was thinking NOT string, but like a halter, or maybe a bandeau.
i have bigger thighs and a big butt. so again, NOT a string bottom, but maybe just a normal one, like no boy shorts bcuz that draws attention to your thighs.
i see girls @ the pool who wear bikinis and are a little older than me, and have a little "pudge." i think they look slammin! should i? i'm black + white if that makes any difference, lol

thanks in advance! i'm not super fat | | I think what you have in mind sounds good. As long as you are comftable and confident people will surely think you look fine. | What do you do with the rest of your body hair? I know people wax/shave their armpits, bikini area, legs and arms, but what do they do with the rest of their body hair? It just seems awkward to me that, for example, women shave their legs but the rest of their body still has hair even if it's barely visible. | | You leave it on.... | Has anyone ever gotten the same tattoo in a different place? I got my 1st tattoo a couple of years ago on my hip. I was worried about regretting it so I didn't get it very big & the top is only barely visible when I wear a string bikini. So essentially the only ones who ever see it are me & my husband. I LOVE the tattoo though - it's a Palmetto tree & moon - the South Carolina logo. It's such a waste that no one sees it. Would it be bad to have it done again on my ankle or should I go with something different & just keep it between me & my hubby? Thanks! | | No my mom wont let me :( | What do I do about my stretch marks? I'm only 15 and not that heavy either. i am about a size 6 and i have stretch marks on the back of my thighs and also on my hips. I'm really self-conscience because of them and i really want to get rid of them but nothing works. People say that when you get stretch marks you have them for life and i was just wondering if i were to wear shorts and my stretch marks were a little bit visible would it be totally disgusting? And if i were to wear a bikini and the stretch marks were showing on my hips would that be totally disgusting? Or even a tankini and they were barely visible? And please be totally honest with me i don't want it sugar coated I can take it i promise. I'm just so sick of not being able to wear shorts and bikinis or even tankinis during the summer because of my stretch marks. | There is a lot of stretch mark treatment available on the market these days. Some treatments are more effective in fading or even eliminating stretch marks, but the success of the treatment depends on a few different things. First of all is the color and age of the stretch marks. If they have faded to a flesh color they are much harder to heal. Second of all, ethnicity and heredity play a role in which creams, oils and other products or equipment will succeed in healing stretch marks.
The cheapest stretch mark treatment available is creams made especially for stretch marks. The most effective creams contain ingredients such as cocoa butter, lanolin and wheat germ oil. These creams actually heal and rebuild the damaged skin. While they may not be able to completely eliminate stretch marks, they may at least make the stretch marks fade to a barely visible scar. A good recommendation will be Palmer Cocoa Butter Cream.
Another popular & effective cream that you might wish to consider is Strivectin. It has a bioactive topical formula that has a combination of skin firming agents to reduce visible wrinkles and make skin appear firmer

THANKS! no mean answers plz! | | Your vagina is a hairy, slimy, sweaty, moist hole that can get filled up with nasty stuff, including sperm, bacteria, waste matter like feces and urine, nasty vaginal discharge, mucus, not to mention nasty, nasty menstruate flow and all the muck that comes out of there regularly. Your pussy will stink and will get yeast infections if you don't clean yourself regularly and properly. So flush your god damn vagina and clean it out, will you?! That's how toilets function. They need to be flushed to stay clean! Use ******* douche or something to clean that nasty hole out. Also, shave your pussy .. it helps keep it fresh and clean and less sweaty. Get with the program girls! This ain't the 60s and 70s, women. I can't believe there are still women out there who keep full thick bushes. You need to get with the program. These days, men expect you to shave down there.. it helps keep the nasty fishy smell away. | Appropriately dressing? Women are always walking around with their breats clearly visible through their shirts, even going further and making the cleavage so large that wearing the shirt doesn't seem worth the effort. Also with the shorts which would be assumed as half-or-so pants; But noo, let's go an push the name as literally and as far as possible. Even at the beach, there are swimming suits/bikinis which just barely cover all the "necessary parts". It's rediculous.
Can men dress in the same manner? Exposing things as they see fit. I'd like to hear of any legal matters concerning this.
On another note;
If there's a half naked girl in a magazine, eating a chocolate bar which the ad is promoting, that wouldn't really make me want chocolate. I'm not saying there should be a guy doing it, nor anyone. Put it on a fruity ******* background, you're advertising candy, not sex.
Gahh, even writing this is pissing me off, so, rather than curse a whole bunch, I'll represent my anger with this >:(
Doesn't this whole topic just make you want to punch something though. Stupid world.
Whatever.
Hm, despite this appearing to be more of a rant than a question, I'm still submitting it as to not have wasted time. And to hear what people have to say about it, them, whatever.
Also, If all you've got is 'ewww, u fag, that would be gross. girls are sexi.', shove it.
| Let me put it simply. We live in a Partiachal society (world is run by men). Unfortunately the only way some women can get by in in society is by exploiting themselves and sometimes the only way to get to the top is doing just that because at the end of the day men like it.
I cannot say I agree with what is done because what the female gender is depicted by society means that the rest of us need to follow suite and that is not what I am about. I work in a male dominated field and i can tell you it irritated me to the core when that society depicts us in such a manner. And i can assure you it takes much longer for us to earn the respect we deserve in the work force than our male counterparts.
I respect your anger but you are very lucky you don't have 50% of the world expecting you to show some cleavage, look thin and beautiful with big breasts nice tan or no tan in some parts of the world and and the only thing you have going for you for a quick success if your figure.
P.S I have worked extra hard to get where I am and i can assure you there is still a long way to go before your voice or our voice can be even heard.
| Hair help please? Ever since starting my periods in December 2006, I've noticed a lot more body hair. My arm hair is darker, my eyebrows look thicker and I've got more hair on my stomach. I think my stomach looks horrible, but I asked my mum and she said she could barely notice it. (Yes, I asked my mum because I was that desperate to know!) Is it normal to have visible stomach hair? I have natural dark brown hair.
Also, is it normal to have to do bikini wax as a young teenager? My friend was saying how weird it is and I thought it was normal. I couldn't imagine wearing a bikini without a bikini wax!
I hate body hair and people with blonde body hair, haha. | Yeahh it's totally normal to have hair on your stomach. And actually, believe or not, lots of people do bikini waxes when they're teenages you just might not notice it or they're too shy to say so. Your friend might think it's weird but she'll won't when she has to do that
Good luck! That stuff is toottallly normal growing up!
dANNY | Help, I just had a really embarrassing moment...? Okay, so basically my friend invited me over for a pool party, and invited most people from school, including guys. I hadn't bought a new bikini in a long time, and it was very tight, barely covering me. I didn't mind, and I took off. Well, we were having a diving board contest, and I raised my arms extremely high and leaped.. when my my breasts popped right out of the small bikini. I was underwater for a while and I managed to raise the top back up. When I surfaced, not many people were really concerned (my face was blood red), because I did a flip and it wasn't very visible. Not like that wasn't enough embarrassment, later that day my ponytail was falling out, so I decided to redo it. When I reached up to my hair, the left strap of my bikini broke, and fell, exposing my entire left boob. I hadn't caught this till I saw all of the glares and laughter... I'm scarred for life and I try to hide my face from people who were there... PLEASE help! | haha thats kinda funny :)
your not the only one with boobs on this planet, if anything you made the party memorable
However!. don't worry about it too much... if it helps, joke at yourself and laugh it off! (but don't beat yourself up over it)
just wait, probably a few months from now no one will care about your boobs popping out at a party
hope this helps | A possible Hirsutism condition? Hi. Okay I've been dealing with a serious and embarrassing issue ever since I began puberty.
I know a lot of women naturally have more hair than others but I honestly don't think this is the case.
Here is a bit of possible helpful information: I am 18 years old, 19 in May. I began puberty at about 14 years old and have barely developed physically between then and now AT ALL. But there is one issue that I have been having that I am here to ask about tonight: body hair and a lack of period possibly being the cause. I've never in my life had a period, nor have I had any big hunches that it would start besides some lower back pain, occassional abdominal pains in the past, the slight physical appearance changes, etc. I went to the gynecologist once when I was 17 because my boyfriend at the time was concerned for me and wanted to make sure there was nothing wrong. The exam wasn't exactly beneficial in my opinion. The doctor couldn't perform a proper pap-smear because I kept chickening out and jerking my lower half away and closing my legs because I DO NOT want anything down there. She said that from what she saw there was nothing wrong. She told me to come back in 6 months if I hadn't started my period and I accepted VERY willingly. It's been probably a year and a half or more since that experience and I never went back. The reason behind this is because I am very happy, aside from the issue that I will get to next, without my period being in my life. I have freedom, I have less worries, I have no period stress, no nothing of that sort. Okay, so now to my problem: I think I may possibly have hirsutism. It's really embarrassing for me to be telling any of you readers this but I am covered from head to toe in body hair that any normal woman would not have (at least not in the way that I have it). When I take a bath to get ready for something that requires unique attire (seeing my boyfriend, basically) everything I have to shave is my back, mustache hair, sideburns, abdominal hair (grows in the male pattern), bikini line hair at the top where the legs and vagina meet as well as between my legs (it's not just a few stray hairs, it too grows in the male pattern and is thick and impossible to get ALL of), anus hair, armpits, lower legs, upper legs, right between the breasts (though it is less thick than the rest of my body hair it is still visible when at full length). Out of all of the things I shave to feel more confident about myself, look at how many of those are what women usually shouldn't HAVE to shave. :[ It basically ruins my self esteem. I can't wear a bikini because the hair that I shave away still appears there in black dots just under the skin as well as razor bumps that I have tried countless things for with no avail. What I'm getting at is that I really want help with this and I wanted to know if going to a gynecologist would honestly help out with my hair problems or will I have just have to deal with the inevitible? I do know other options (waxing, laser removal, electrolysis, etc) but I figure I really shouldn't have to waste money that I DON'T have to get rid of this hair that I don't even know why I have. Please respond to me, I've been desperate for answers ever since I began puberty and my hair began to grow in abnormal places. | you def should see a gyno , I have had some similar problems. They will take some blood and probably and ultra sound to make sure everything is alright and then they might put you on birth control to help you with your hormones. I understand where you are comming from and also for your body hair probably try getting veet hair removal it will take away the hair and not leave little black dots.
Good luck and I hope everything works out |
