If you want to lose weight faster, you'll need to eat less and exercise more. Bottom
line: 1,050 to 1,200 calories and one hour of exercise a day (but be sure not to dip
below this calorie level for safety's sake). On this type of plan, you can expect to
lose 3-5 pounds the first week.
Check out those websites below. They have many helpful tips. Hope that helps. :)

Can anyone give me a copy of the booty makeover guide from brazil butt lift? I have all the dvds and the other stuff, but I seem to have misplaced the booty makeover guide with the workout plans for the different booty shapes.. I need the lift and shape workout calendar and the classic solution workout calendar. If anyone would make a copy of these two for me, or give me a link of a copy of the plan off the internet somewhere, I would be extremely grateful. =) |
| I can send them, whats ur email? |
Why is it so normal In Brazil For women to show off there butts? Who brought that idea the portuguese or the Africans |
| In brazil it is hot so they don't have a need for lots of clothes. Here in the US I have many friends who are from Brazil and they are not like that at all. In fact most of them look Caucasian and have regular sized looking butts. |
Are the Japanese that migrated to Brazil kicking their butts...? ...that they left their homeland just before it became an economic superpower? |
that could also be said to the millions of italian and german descendants in Brazil.
HOWEVER, it hardly matters to anyone that YOUR country is an economic superpower. What matters is YOUR life and your family.
many of the immigrant descendants living in Brazil are probably richer than they would be if their ancestors had stayed in Europe or Japan.
as for the blacks in Brazil, while they probably are better here than they would be had their ancestors stayed in Africa (of course, they were brought as slaves, they didnt have a choice), most blacks are poor in Brazil, so it was not really a good leap in life. |
Has anyone tried the Brazil Butt Lift DVD with Leandro Carvalho? Does it really help with tightening and firming butt as well as shedding inches of off waist, hip and thigh areas? How long was it before you started seeing results? How often do you have to use the DVD's? |
I just got this program and love it! I've been using it for two days and i definitely feel it in my abs and lower half. As far as following the program- im doing the "pear" plan with my own twist to it. For the days that it recommends the "Bum Bum" or "Cardio Axe" I stick with my Jillian Michaels' 30 Day Shred for a shorter workout (20 min) or her "Banish Fat Boost Metabolism" (50 min) for longer. I don't like Leandro's cardio because the moves are too dance-like for me. I have no coordination and can not keep up with his constantly changing movements. I will however follow the plan for the "tummy tuck", "high and tight" and "sculpt"- all of these are great toning workouts- def worth the money.
For the first week or so he recommends 2 days of rest and just one or two of the workouts each day. The next week, you get one day of rest and more workout time. By the fourth week you are doing about 50 minutes of workout combos each day. There is also a workout schedule for maintenance after you have completed the four weeks. I really like the resistance band that comes with it- you can choose to use it or not (def makes a difference though). You will also need ankle weights (or choose not to use em). I already had a set I got from Target ($20). I would suggest buying adjustable weighted ones so you can up the intensity as you progress. I started doing "high and tight" with 5lbs but had to switch back down to 3lbs.
Oh and I'm not following the nutrition plan- I already have a low cal vegetarian diet (less than 1300). His recommends 1100 or lower. Hope this helps with your decision! |
Have anyone tried the Brazil Butt Lift Workout DVD? Let me know your results... I want to order this workout DVD but just wanted to hear what others results were from using this DVD. |
| I have been using this for about a week, and I think it's working. My butt is a pretty sore but that's a good thing. It is a great cardio workout. Made me sweat A LOT. My boyfriend has a problem with my extra chub chub here n there, and always pushes me to go to the gym or do crunches. I showed him this and he was excited and skeptical at the same time. He watched me do these for a few days, and hes all smiles :) He says he's already seeing a difference, but its only been a week. I guess we'll see later on! :D |
Beach body programs (hip hop abs, brazil butt lift, insanity p90x, rev abs, etc)? can you tell me a bit about them and give me yer rating? ive been lookin at that brazil butt lift. i want a booty like that! haha =] and i don't have a lot of weight to lose.. just 15 pounds since im at 130. so it doesn't have to be like one of their extreme programs (insanity for example) |
It really depends on what you want and how quickly you want it. P90X, I know, is for building or toning muscle and losing/maintaining weight at the same time. Insanity is almost all about losing fat and excess pounds which in turn will get your butt down but will also make you fitter. Of course p90x makes you fit as well.
The butt lift is only for toning the butt. It isn't for general fitness; it's aimed at women who want to tone their backside.
Hip hop abs is a fun way of toning your abs but it isn't very effective. I admit it's fun and you do become fitter but you're better off doing other programs. |
